The inland sailing ships sail on the Wadden Sea, IJsselmeer, Markermeer and in the Delta area.
A variety of guests pass by on board. Some examples: school classes, groups of friends, families, people with physical or mental disabilities or a wedding couple with family and friends. On board the sailing ships, passengers can play an active role on board. Under the watchful eye of skipper and crew, the basics of sailing can be learned.
Motor passenger ships choose mainly the rivers and canals; from the Netherlands to deep into France and Germany.
The guests of motor charter vessels are mainly cycling enthusiasts; in fact, these trips are often offered as bike-boating vacations.
In a bike-boat vacation, guests get on their bikes in the morning after breakfast. Meanwhile, the ship departs for the same final destination as the cycling itinerary.
So in the evening one spends the night in another port, but still in the same room; here the ship acts as a sailing hotel. Bike -boat vacations are offered mainly in the Netherlands, Germany, France and Belgium.
