Herma van Keulen | Director
Tilburg University Leisure Sciences, Hogere Hotelschool Leeuwarden and commercial director of a national catering wholesaler for almost 20 years. Since 2021, Herma, a native of Leeuwarden, has been proud to “sell” all the beauty of her native province and associated business opportunities to potential conference organizers. A great opportunity to sustainably increase business tourism in Friesland together with all stakeholders. Herma's passion is Basketball and a great lover of sports & culture. As a board member, Herma also supports the Youth Fund Sport & Culture.

Hidde Verhoog | Marketing
Hidde is in his final year of studying Tourism Management at the NHL Stenden Hogeschool in Leeuwarden. He was born in Amsterdam, but has been a proud resident of Friesland for over 18 years. Putting this unique province on the map as a congress destination is for him an interesting challenge that he gladly accepts with both hands. During his time at Friesland Convention Partners he will also be involved in various tasks in the field of marketing & sales that fit this goal. He likes to spend his free time at the gym or at a festival with friends.

Marijke Gaastra | Congress Manager
Born and raised near Sneek, Marijke is very excited to now represent the most beautiful province of the Netherlands. Marijke also studied International Hospitality Management in Leeuwarden. With her experience in organizing international scientific conferences, she has all the substantive knowledge and can help you with the first steps in organizing your conference. In addition to her work as Congress Manager, you can regularly find Marijke on the field playing the Frisian sport "Kaatsen" in the summer and she plays the flute with the Stedelijk Muziekkorps Sneek.

Rienk Dijkstra
Rienk is a fourth-year student of International Tourism Management at NHLStenden Hogeschool in Leeuwarden. In a period of 30 weeks he will commit himself to Friesland Convention Partners and he will be involved in various tasks. As a resident of the north-east of Friesland, he would like to contribute to business tourism for this region. Rienk likes to do sports in his spare time and, as a qualified cook, loves good food.
Fabienne Gooijer
Fabienne was born and raised in Heerenveen. At 23 years old, she is studying Business Administration at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences. Her final year consists of an internship and graduate internship, both of which she will do at Friesland Convention Partners. She has been playing ice hockey since she was 3 years old and even spent a year in Canada. As ambassador of the Jeugdfonds Sport en Cultuur, a sports career can obviously not be missed. Fabienne will be involved in several bid books and multi-day events until January 2024.
Adelien Tiwon
Adelien is in her final year of studying International Tourism Management at the NHL Stenden Hogeschool in Leeuwarden. Born in Jakarta and raised in the city of Depok in Indonesia, Adelien has lived in the Netherlands since she was eleven years old. Sports, doing fun things with friends, good food and going on adventures abroad are the things Adelien likes most in her free time. During her minor in South Africa, she was able to combine all this in a fun way. There she followed the minor Wildlife Management for 10 weeks. During her internship at Friesland Convention Partners, she will be involved in preparing and organizing conferences.
