HOND

The event HOND is the umbrella name for the event of the Raad van Beheer, which also includes the annual Winner Show.

This event is more than just a dog show. There are demonstrations, workshops that you can participate in with your dog, dog sports competitions, you can shop and there is a dog village with information about dog breeds. For example, the breed associations of the Dutch dog breeds that are affiliated with the Raad van Beheer have a stand on Hond. You can go there for information about the breed or varieties. If you are looking for a new roommate or if you have other questions, the breed club will be happy to assist you.

Dog also pays attention to other activities you can do with your dog(s). These activities are discussed in the event and demonstration ring. Think, for example, of dancing with your dog or dog dance. In addition, the Youth Committee pays a lot of attention to activities with young people, including junior handling. Junior handling is the responsible and expert presentation of a dog in a competitive context. The grand final of this competition is during the Winner with the election of the Dutch Champion Junior Handling. The winner represents the Netherlands during international competitions.
