American sustainability award 'The Four Generation Award' for Friesland!

In Friesland, circularity is attracting increasing attention. Together with the government, knowledge institutions, social organizations and various entrepreneurs, we are developing the society of the future. A place where smarter raw materials, sustainable energy, preservation of culture, biodiversity and well-being reign supreme.

Especially Vereniging Circulair Friesland has put Friesland on the international map as an example region. In Circular Friesland, various parties are working together to make Friesland the most circular region in Europe by 2025.

Now with the icing on the cake: the American sustainability award: the Four Generation Award! This award was presented by the organization Leaders in Energy. The American sustainability organization, based in Washington DC, rewards Friesland's efforts.
